You could just get a probiotic capsule with the bacteria that you want and then reconstitute them and add them to the milk at the ideal temperature for the bacteria reproduction.

It will take quite some time for them to thicken the resulting ferment, it could take up to 24 hours. Using some of the resulting ferment as a starter is usually much faster than using a probiotic capsule in my experience.
