MCW, I really enjoyed reading about your progress!
I agree that if a supplement is making you feel worse from the get go, then you need to change the dose or the supplement. It's wise to listen to your intuition and not put yourself through torture needlessly. I've been the same way with supplements I was recommended to take. Within the first several days of adding in a new supplement, if I felt worse I'd lower the dose, then drop it altogether if the symptoms continued.
I also agree with you and Lualu that it's wise to dig into what got you into AF in the first place, including negative energies and trapped emotions.
