I have a Facebook friend who says she has "serious health issues," I don't know what they are, but I mentioned Iodine supplementation, and she replied:
"For iodine, I do take kelp capsules, and I apply a stain of lugols-type solution on my skin every day. Recently, the stain is still there the next day which indicates I now have sufficient Iodine in my system, which may explain why my hypothyroid symptoms have disappeared!"
Is this all it takes, putting it on the skin, and if the stain doesn't go away, that means we've got enough? Note, she doesn't say all her health issues have been resolved...
