Great article. I am investigating a more basic application, such as isolating the structure of the most prominent molecule, and having it synthesized for future testing.

The interesting thing about the molecules, is they are very specific in the targeting of aggressive microbes, and are not disruptive to beneficial microbes (at least in the frog's immediate environment).

The production of secretions is irritating to the frog, however, because it will avoid water which becomes stagnant.
