Can I take Iodine during a Master Cleanse?

My body is just feeling yucky, so I need to do a Master Cleanse. Haven't done one in about a year, so it's time. I usually keep taking my vitamins at night, so they can be absorbed before being eliminated in the morning, so is it o.k. to do the same with my iodine? I usually take it first thing in the morning with my co-nutrients on an empty stomach. When I'm cleansing, I take everything right before bed on an empty stomach.
