How often do you use the ointment (or wipes)

I have hemorrhoids but it sounds like I'm lucky...mine hurt but not all that much and the stuff at the drugstore helps. It’s just a nuisance applying 3-4 times a day. I know the box says up to four times, but I was just wondering how often other people apply the ointment (or use the wipes, I bought both).
