Re: Lines on lips

I had a theory about EC a while back ago and this kinda proves that it may actually have some merit. Daniel, the lines coming out on your lips now is definitely a part of the healing process. The skin is merging with the inner mucosa of the mouth. Once this has completed then you can say good-bye to any white line/slime that will buildup again.

I believed that the buildup becoming present on our lips was actually skin that needed to stay on our lips but was being "attacked" somehow.

Whatever EC is, it is making the mucosa part of the lips highly toxic to skin, that is why the lips feel raw when the buildup falls off. The skin is being exposed to excess keratin, which makes it appear yellow. The inflammation of whatever part of the lips is what keeps signaling for the body to produce a barrier while the keratin hardens it so that it is similar to a scab.

I'm kind of writing on impulse here so I apologize if I sound confusing. As an EC sufferer for 19 years now--I just want to put all the pieces of the puzzle together so that EC never happens to anyone again, regardless of it being trauma or infection induced.
