Topical steroid headaches?

So a year and a half ago I started getting dandruff on my scalp & behind my ears. After taking fish oil supplements, the outbreaks behind my ears went away..yet the scalp outbreak stayed. The dermatologist put me on a regime of clobetasol topical steroid application & a sacilyic acid shampoo. After a while I saw little improvement & disliked taking the steroid so I stopped. Now I recently went back to the dermatologist because I needed something that could ease the constant itching, peeling and flaking on my scalp. This time she told me she believed that instead of seborrehic dermatitis..which she had diagnosed me with a year before..she now believed I had psorasis. She once again prescribed me the topical steroid, sacilyic acid shampoo and an oil treatment. I was supposed to use the clobetasol twice a day for three weeks. It's been two weeks. Skin is clearing up, feeling much better. Today I had a terrible headache mainly on one side of my head, and was wondering why..as I never have headaches. I realized I had the headache on the left side of my head...which is where my psorasis is...which is where I apply the topical steroid. I did a google search, and found out headaches are a side effect of topical steroids. Do you think that could have been the cause if my headache? Should I discontinue the steroid?
