This is just SO incredible to me.

I remember when my daughter had her first session with a photographer with us. I'm looking at it right now.

I remember the photographer saying that it was SO RARE to see a baby smiling like that "SO young". We said she smiled like that all the time. We were SO tickled to hear him say that because, being new parents, we were clueless.

Here's the thing, though. My daughter was TEN weeks old when the photo was taken. (I had Iodine in my pre-natal vitamins, but our water was chorine-free and fluoride-free for her first eight months in my womb!)

So to see this little one smiling like that, looking RIGHT at the camera and smiling like that...

just BLOWS MY MIND!
