Too many people here are attempting ridiculously long fasts with the main or sole goal to loss weight to try to quickly correct years of poor lifestyle.
Fasting can SLOW your metabolism and cause you to gain MORE weight in the long run.
Most people don't need to fast, but to just adopt a healthy lifestyle and be patient.
I personally recommend a high-calorie/high-carb/low-fat well-hydrated and plenty of sleep lifestyle.
