To add to my previous message, don't jump into calculating calories, making drastic changes, creating too much stress in your life from abrupt changes.
Start changes slowly, substituting bad nutrition for good, drinking fresh juices, if you can, etc.
You can start wherever you feel comfortable - anything you'll do will be going in the right direction.
I have some steps outlined on my blog, books on my web site, etc.
Most important, you decided to change. However, you need to do what feels right for you.
I changed my diet, learnt nutrition and many holistic therapies - it takes time.
I just don't want you to feel overwhelmed.
