Re: Black and Green Tea Components Demonstrate Antifungal Effects

Yes

I just stumbled on black tea last year, and it makes me feel a lot better than it should. IT's one of a very few things I can drink with no problems, and for some reason it helps tremendously with constipation and even gut flora. I can drink 16 ounces or more of it down like in one gulp whereas most liquids I have trouble with.

I am worried about the fluoride though. Stopped it some months ago to see if it was causing back pain and am trying it again. EGCG or extracts did not have the same effect as just drinking tea.

I think I read somewhere that it also combats certain forms of amoebas.

Also liver flushes were a lot more successful after drinking black tea.
