Re: Newby on Lugols

Yes. As far as I have gathered, Hyper/Hypo or any thyroid imbalance was treated with Lugol's Iodine pre WW2. Doctors had a success rate of 97%!! Then came Big Pharma and Iodophobia.
I was explicitly warned not to take any Iodine containing products or treatment (by my GP 6 years ago!), he said it is highly toxic for my condition and even life threatening! After 6 years of alternative therapies and status quo, I finally put my health in my own hands by following my gut instinct. As you can imagine I lost trust in doctors when I was told my condition is "Incurable" and I have only the options of Radio-Iodine or Thyroidectomy.
I can't wait for my next blood test results so I can give it to the docs in their faces. I am really looking forward to it, believe me! ;)
