Perhaps you are correct. As stated in my first post, for whatever reason, during the second "cooking" the silver rods collected A LOT more oxides than the first batch.

I filtered the solution through a non bleached coffee filter into the my storage container, but I suppose it's possible that there was many more smaller oxides still there.

The customer service "expert" on the generator won't be back in until tomorrow(Wednesday), so I'll call then and see what she has to say.
