Re: DIY Mouthwash Questions (essential oils/ETC)
Thanks for the reply.

I will look into the above herbs you mentioned.
-
Comfrey is claimed to help w/ bone remineralization. So thought that would be a good addition to the mix as long as it's not swallowed.
-
I forgot to mention that I will be also adding a few cell salts.
Calc Fluor / Calc Phos / Mag Phos / Silica.
I would add better forms of silica, but they would create a gelatin like effect in the mixture, so a cell salt of it seems to be better.
-
The baking soda is there due to it's original benefits on oral health and for it's low pH w/ the mixture.
MgCl for about the same reasons, but seems to aid more in remineralization.
-
I will look in to calendula, sage, & cannamon as a addition(s).
Tea Tree/eucalyptus are overshadowed by the effects of the others in the list. Eucalyptus has a very nice cooling effect when mixed with peppermint oil, but I don't want to add too many antiseptics (tea tree being the other).

I used clove before and due to what I read on it for systemic benefits and oral, along w/ it's ORAC rating.
It burns very badly. So I will use that in lower concentrations.

Thanks for the response again.
I also have a DIY toothpaste recipe that I read online, but upgraded a few ingredients like adding MgCl, papain, bromelain, opti-msm, & bamboo extract to the original ingredients. Also adding cell salts as well. Hopefully that works out well.
