Gentian Violet removed Epidermis, will skin autograft?
I used gentian violet on the penis head, forskin, and scrotum.
Where the yeast infection was bad, the Gentian Violet sank in for a long time, then the skin turned dark bruised red, and finally dissolved off. What is left is a white layer of skin that is extremely sensitive and very painful.
I believe the Epidermis outer layer was "burnt off".
My biggest worry is that I am uncircumcised, and both the inside of the forskin and the head have these areas of skin, which are making contact. The skin is producing a thick white protective layer of protein-like material in the areas that now have no epidermis, and it seems to be trying to "attach" the foreskin to the penis head - attempting to heal the wound by grafting the two wounded parts together that should remain separate.
I keep pulling back the forskin even though it is extremely painful, making sure I break contact so it can't graft to the head, but I'm sure this is slowing the healing process if it is not necessary.
Is this just my paranoia or is it something I should be very concerned about?
