Just keep in mind this is one person's opinion. This diet may be beneficial for some people but it will definitely not be right for all people. Try it out and see how you feel. Some people actually do need quite a bit of fat and protein in their diet. Anyone who claims that a certain macro-nutrient (carbohydrates, protein, fat) is bad for you does not have a good understanding of nutrition. It all depends on the specific person and your body type, some people can do very well on a low protein, low fat diet, but not all. Some people actually do better on a somewhat high protein, high fat diet, it all depends on the person, but definitely for breaking the fast avoid fats and proteins for some time, eat raw fruits and vegetables, then after some time add vegetables soups and later you can go to whichever diet you want to try to get your body healthy. I do agree that fruit is good for the body and that sugars feeding candida is not the issue, fruit should always be eaten separately from other foods.
