I have swelling and pain under my tongue. The dentist said that I have a blocked salivary gland. He thought the stone would just leave on it's own. It has not. My family doctor has no idea what to do. She gave me magic mouth wash. She sent me to an ENT. He checked the glands on the side of my mouth and said "You don't have blocked glands" and did a bunch of blood work. It hit me later that he was checking the wrong place for the problem.
It has been going on for five months. I have been drinking apple cider vinegar. That seems to give a slight relief. Yesterday I read this thread and did the vinegar on the glands under my tongue. I also gargled with salt water. This morning I noticed one gland was squirting liquid. The other one seems more irritated.
