Stop GMOs Now!

It's going to take way too long to try to get the FDA or the government to get GMOs labeled. We the consumers need to take control of this situation and if we get enough people to support this, we can get rid of GMOs as a grass-roots movement from the consumer, much the same way that barely any farmers use rBGH because it became no longer profitable due to consumer demand. First thing we need to do is stop buying any products that knowingly use GMOs, do your research, check out the manufacturer websites. Write to food manufacturers and tell them that you will boycott their products until they label their food as not containing GMOs. Organic is great, we always have this option and now their is also certified non-GMO, we should be telling food manufacturers to get certified in this manner. In my opinion, there is also a third option and that is for companies who purposely avoid using Genetically-Modified-Organisms crops, they should label their food as such (even though it is not certified non-GMO). I know there are some legal issues that go along with this and they would have to write in small print that the FDA has not shown any significant difference between Genetically-Modified-Organisms and non-GMO (dumb freakin' FDA) and maybe they would have to mention something about the possibility of even non-GMO crops unknowingly being contaminated by Genetically-Modified-Organisms crops.
