I have recently started taking calcium carbonate for IBS-D, and it has significantly slowed down my digestion in a good way, I have been having only 1 bowel movement a day since taking it!
I was just wondering, how does this work, and am I going to be better absorbing nutrients due to them being in the intestines longer instead of running through me fast? And will this possibly help me gain weight? (I have a hard time gaining weight)
