The fear we should have is there will be so many sheeple that will want to be like Jolie or Osborne. Allowing this to be said without any prominent doctor countering it is insane. Basically, Jolie is saying this is what you should do if you have Braca1 or Braca2 genes; who gave her or any of these women like Osborne the right to practice medicine, because that is what they are doing when they are giving medical advice especially advice that says amputate a part of your body.

What is not being said is there is only a small percentage of women that have either gene mutation and of that one to two percent, only a smaller percent actually get the cancer. There is greater risk of having the surgery. Still even with the surgery there is not guarantee they will be cancer free, those cells are not just in the target areas, they may well be elsewhere and will grow despite the surgery. So, how logical and sensible is this 'brave' decision. It is false hope.

Prevention and strengthening the weakened areas. If you are susceptible to such cancer, strengthen your system, strengthen your immune system. Change your diet and lifestyle to eliminate all hormone based foods, and products. We should teach prevention and proactive living. Not promote mutilation; it is barbaric.
