Inguinal hernia ?

I'm new to this for the last 2 months I've had several symptoms that have landed me in the ER on 4 occasions. I have pains in my lower back abdomen going down to my left testicle. I was oringanally told it was a kidney stone and sent away. I saw a urologist and he checked the ct scans and confirmed I had one in my kidney still so it was not causing my pains.

The latest visit to the ER was different they looked over all my labs ct scans, and scrotal ultra sound and found nothing. He said he wanted to check for a hernia. He did this while I laid on my back. I know what ever he did hurt like crazy.

My question is could I have a hernia without any noticeable bulge or lump? I'm fairly skinny very low body fat. The pain has become much more constant on my groin area since he stuck his finger in the hole. Tweet
