Chiropractor did spinal work now my neck creaks and my spine and hip pops and it hurts. What can I do?

I went to see a specialist for a hip issue which started after I injured my knee. I explained that I had no issues with my spine, I really tried to stress that I wanted the work done on my hip and tried to explain what I thought happened when I wore a straight leg brace for two months straight which injured my hip. He seemed very irritated when I tried to explain this to him.

I've never had back pain. This Chiropractor is suppose to be a specialist in the extremities. I told him that I didn't want to do the adustments to my spine and that they hurt but he was very aggressive. He did work from my lower back all the way up the spine and the final one he did was on my cervical spine in the neck area where he seemed to gently yet rapidly twist on each side after which I heard a series of pops, he told me it was just gasses releasing. The problem is that now my back pops all the way down to my lower back/hip area and when I move my head from side to side I hear creaking/cracking and have pain as well as popping.

I really hope this subsides. I have no idea what to do. Should I see someone about this? If I leave it alone will it go away eventually? This has been going on two weeks now. I am very uncomfortable and I feel stiff and slow and I almost feel like there is a pressure in my upper neck which is giving me a slight headache. The original chiro said he doesn't think he can help me and I wouldn't feel comfortable seeing him again because he seems mentally unstable anyway. Should I try an inversion table? Massage? I'm so scared to try another chiropractor and make things worse. Any advice please? Thanks.
