So the other day I was trying to slide some drywall forward that was flat on the ground forward and when I did I locked my elbows out and hurt both of my arms. My right arm visibly injured but both hurt.
I went to the ER right away and they focused purely on my right arm because you could see that I had torn something. They immediately sent me to a Ortho doctor who told me I tore my bicep tendon and I needed surgery. An MRI confirmed I have a complete year of my right distal bicep tendon.
When I told the Ortho that I felt both arms pop he basically ignored my left and said it was just tendinitis. It has been 8 days now and my right arm that has to have surgery doesn't really hurt but my left hurts if I move it. Left doesn't hurt unless I move it and hurts really bad when I rotate my thumb down. The pain runs from my elbow all the way up my hand.
Does anyone have any information they can share on what could be wrong with my left arm? I am more worried about it than my one I need surgery on.
