My 11 year old poodle's blood work came out with his alk phosphatase levels very high. They have been high most of his life, but since last September they have really spiked. (722 out of 5-131). His RBC and calcium is also slightly elevated.
He has been having some strange symptoms on and off. He had a sonogram, and it was negative. No masses and his adrenal glands appeared normal. A basic Cushings test came out negative.
The vet has even suggested cancer. Just how serious are elevated Phosphatase levels?
