Re: a mystery
Nothing like a good mystery :) I am especially drawn to the mysterious fact that it is unknown at this point whether the mystery fibers came from within or without. Just to take a quick stab at the "within" potential theory, have you considered going back to your tub and trying to recreate as close as possible the same conditions to see if they same results occur? BTW, two droppers full of Pure OO is a strong mix. I remember the first time I bathed using that much caused some definite stinging in some of the more sensitive areas of skin on my lower parts, if you know what I mean ;) Then again, I prefer my coffee and other liquid libations strong.
Since you mentioned a brief journey outside in the rain, here is a quick stab at the "....without...." potential theory. The first thing that clicked with me when you mentioned the words "... some kind of fibers..." was remembering having read about the variety of stuff that may fall out of the sky via the rain after a day of .......well, lets just say it was one of those days that mysteriously promoted the laborious lingering of frozen/crystalized but otherwise normal jet exhaust :) I have read that certain concoctions used to promote this mysterious lingering of
frozen/crystalized but otherwise normal jet exhaust can lead to the forming of fiber-like globs on the ground, such as on one's dewey lawn, the morning after. I've witnessed such mystery globs on dewey lawns, although I cannot confirm their cause.
