People have had inclinations towards savagery and barbaric behaviour since day dot. Some civilizations have attempted to move away from savagery - some haven't. Some ideologies promote it - some don't. I get your point about incursions into foreign lands and maipulations by the American govt into other people's affairs and govt - but I don't agree with you, or Ron Paul that this is a full explanation of savery we are seeing today.
