But what about the materials used in those modified stethoscopes? Can you just modify any ordinary cheap stethoscope that has chrome layer and plastic knobs to be used for ear insufflation? Only replacing the rubber tubes with silicon tubes? Are those materials ozone resistant enough? I read somewhere that chrome has weak resistant to ozone.

And can one use the plastic humidifier that comes along with many oxygen conzentrators? Tweet
