Re: Protozoa education

I have not researched the impact of protozoas on the human body yet, because i consider that it is a single cell organism and i think the immune system cells of the human body are able to detect and produce defense mechanisms and weapons against these "simple" organisms.

>>Many Protozoa are not simple organisms but employ multiple strategies to evade immune response and eradication. They are generally underestimated in their ability to cause disease.

My focus for the moment is more to get rid of complex multi cells organisms like helminths.
>>Proper testing is always key - see the blog post for more info.

What do you think about that ? Do you think protozoas are able to hide from the immune system or to trick/poison/manipulate the immune system cells in some way ? And if yes, do you have more infos about this please ?
