Personally, I believe it is a big mistake to have any preconceptions about how long you will fast or how long you should fast. Every person is different, we are not all meant to do super-long fasts, you have to listen to your body throughout fasting to know when it is time to break the fast. Feeling symptoms of fever, sore throat, increased mucous, and many other symptoms are perfectly normal and a sign that your body is detoxing. If you start to feel anxious, nervous, have insomnia, long-lasting fatigue, these are all signs that you should end the fast. Every negative experience that people have on this forum is because they listened to someone else instead of their own body. Good luck.
