Do Soy Isoflavnoids themself cause leaky gut?

Hey there,
So I know Soy wreaks havoc on your body and is a prime contributor to leaky gut, but is that primarily because of the lectins in the soy?
Would taking soy isoflavones have any affect whatsoever on your gut or only on your hormonal and endocrine system. Because this is the part of the soy that handles estrogen, I'd imagine it causing a response to your hormones but not so much your leaky gut.
Thanks!
