Having worked in a high school setting with students with "behavior" problems for 20 years, I have witnessed this type of scenario far too often..... the student is speaking truth, yet the school stands behind the teacher and calls the kid a "troublemaker" because they have the guts to call out those who need calling out. Many times I had to bring a kid to the "office" for doing this exact thing... and never once was I asked if there was nay truth to what they were saying. Never once was it ever the teacher's fault for boring the students, or instead of actually teaching them, they just "tell" them, and expect total compliance to their every rule and expectation. Our educational system is in such need of change... we all know it, but the powers that be are too steeped in tradition to seek change.
