Longterm I don't think you even have EC. I think you have some sort of cheilitis but your condition looks nothing like EC.

Plus I know you have not used a steroid or Aquaphor long enough to eliminate the inflammation completely. So of course your lips will go back to building up when you stop. The entire point of the treatment is to completely eliminate the inflammation.

So what you keep saying really doesn't apply...
