400 mg's is a good dose.. some docs under prescribe at 200 mg's for Albenda.
Yes the Pyrantel Palmoate is a paralyser.. and used on its own or in comination. I've never heard of it being used topically - the theory is that they are paralysed so move out of the colon with normal persistalsis (which many of us don't have).. and often if they aren't moved out quickly enough they wake up.. that's why following up with mebendazole is a good idea if you don't have multiple bowel movements a day. Albenda works the same but is systemic.
If you still feel something in your vagina, I'd douche it out while you can. Wouldn't want it waking up; although I don't know if pyrantel works outside of the colon?.
Good luck Terri. Good to hear you have a doctor willing to prescribe.
