Speaking of wounds, dissolvable stitches have been infecting my skin underneath a scar (in scar revision). I had to have a scar revised a few times because puss keeps oozing out end where a knot of dissolvable stitches is underneath the skin. I am getting non-dissolvable stitches the next time to avoid an infection underneath my skin. It is like my body is having a reaction or attacking the stitches. Anyway, this wound cannot heal until the dissolvable stitches or infection cause is gone. This makes me think of the lips inability to heal with a constant yeast or bacteria infection.
