Re: Socialist medicine in decline: One quarter of all Canadian nurses say they wouldn't recommend their own hospitals
And the United States wants this?
As other countries who have have socialized medicine are realizing it is not a good idea, the U.S. is going head long into it. The citizens can read and hear what is going on elsewhere, we know we don't want a failure system.
There is rumor many doctors in the U.S are going to retire rather than deal with socialized healthcare; others will change their specialties. like becoming a vet instead. So where does that leave the people; almost immediately we will see problems; in fact, problems are already being noticed. Denials are becoming part of the norm.
It is only free until the people run out of money to pay the government. The government does not make money, it is the citizen's money they spend; who can spend the money better, you or the government?
Healthcare needs reforming but not this way. Tort reform would bring costs way down, but attorneys make up most of the politicians, so why would they hurt their own colleagues? The cause is at the top, and the corruption seeps downward.
Canadians get the picture; and there will be changes made there soon; socialized medicine is collapsing and free market will take its place.
