Re: Mebendazol, Ivermectin
I got my Mebendazole under the name Vermox, over the counter, here in the Bahamas. They didn't even ask questions. Got 15 boxes, they were about $3.50 each per 500mg pill (one pill per box).
Did you check your pharmacy? If you're desperate, I could always ship you some. Don't know how much shipping would cost to Canada, but I have relatives in Montreal, and someone travels up there every few weeks.
I do have to say that depending on what you're using it for, Mebendazole might not be a silver bullet. It worked for me on the first course, followed by a two-week break, then Albendazole, then a two-week break, and now back on Mebendazole. This time around, I feel nothing, no changes, no improvement in symptoms. I'm now back to where I was before the treatment started.
Just to clarify, my self-diagnosed problem seems to be liver flukes (based on findings in the toilet lol, and symptoms, etc). Liver flukes are the hardest to get rid of. I've decided to stop treatment, and give it a month's rest (at least), and then try Triclabendazole. This is supposed to be THE STUFF that kills flukes like nothing else.
All these drugs are in the same family, so taking one for a prolonged period of time might build resistance in the other drugs as well. Here is a post that briefly mentions the resistance...

So I'm ditching the rest, and trying to find Triclabenzadole, which is proving near darn impossible. Once I find it, I would be willing to share it with any others who are in the same desperate situation.
