Chemotherapy what lures people to using poisons

Your diagnosed with cancer. What causes people to agree to using chemotherapy?

Is there something the doctor says or does that lures people to accepting and allowing the administration of a poison into their veins? We would not ordinarily outstretch our arms or allow a port put into our body so a poison can be dripped in; but we do so without question.

Why then do we not question the doctor? Do most hold doctors to such high esteem that they may do or administer anything and we will readily accept it? Where has our logic gone?

If anyone else forced us or coerced us into taking a poison we would be arrested but in the name of killing cancer, it is acceptable to kill good healthy cells to kill the bad cancer cells and sometime kill the patient in the process. Such deaths are not questioned but accepted as well. So, it is okay for a doctor to do this but not us. It is okay for the pharmas to manufacture chemo poisons and sell them as treatment.

And if we suggest, recommend or talk about natural treatments that will not harm the person; we are considered doing harm. Where is the logic here? And does this not give us cause to wonder what really is happening? Do you think as more treatments are denied for cost saving purposes people will begin to look away from conventional chemo and into do no harm naturally based treatments?
