Re: Molkosan

James,
In my experience, you can have a severe intestinal candidiasis even having beneficial bacterial species in your intestines.

My two CDSA have shown beneficial bacteria even high numbers of beneficial E. Coli. However, I have had a severe intestinal candidiasis.

I am not totally convinced that the beneficial flora is what plays the big role controlling the yeast morphogenesis. As you know, during an infection with Candida Albicans, there are mutated cells and no mutated cells. It is probably the immune system and the antagonistic flora what impede the transition from yeast to fungus. What is clear is one time the infection is established the return of lactic acid bacteria isn't enough to reverse it. The infection must be eradicated with a treatment in order to recover. Human native bacterial species can not reverse an overgrowth. The proof is candida albicans is a colonizer of the human tissues and share space with bacteria in the intestines. Science is still no clear what triggers the germination. Some studies point to Ph, others to temperature, bacterial species, and genetic changes.

Anyway, what I wanted to tell you is the bacterial flora don't revert the infection.

Jorge.
