Re: Niacin vs. Niacinamide
Ignore the title B3 and think of them as completely different supplements.
Cutler recommends Niacinamide because in nearly all cases our liver's ability to process toxins exceeds its ability to bind them.
While Niacin is needed its first reaction in a deficient body is to remove certain blockages to toxins. This actually dumps even more toxins that the liver's second phase (binding) cannot handle..
Now most people are completely unaware of this issue, I know myself did two
coffee enemas a day for quite a long time until I read Cutler's book on Niacinamide.
Best practice is to start with Niacinamide in Cutler size doses then, but only after the liver function improves, add some Inositol Hexanicotinate and see how it goes.
If all is well one can carefully add Niacin.
All that said; best to use AMLA or other Lead Chelators if you are afraid of Cholesterol..
