Re: Feeling lost.
Hi Cynthia,
Yes I think it is possible to still have symptoms almost 4 years later.
How long did you have the Mirena in for? I would think that the longer it was in you, the longer the recovery. Everyones body chemistry reacts differently to things. It seems thru your other posts you have been actively trying to find a cure for your symptoms.
I am almost 3 m onths post removal, but had the Mirena in for 4 years, So i have accepted unfortunately, that I will probably be a long term sufferer of post symptoms.
What helps me is :
A)Drinking water,it seems to help with the anxiety and eating when im hungry.
B)
Epsom Salts Bath
C)Milk Thistle Tea to cleanse the liver
D)Exercises
Anything to get rid of the toxins, havent tried a detox diet yet though.
I now have weird bone pain, mainly in my arm(left) but it can go other places
and I have a third period, 8 days after my second period.
And chronic breast pain since I had the mirena and post.
So yes, I think it will go away for you, I know it will, it just is going to take a while.
I read somewhere that if you are b etween 95-130lbs pre mirena, it gets into your blood stream
more, than otherwise. That might explain a few things possibly.
Mirena really is like being a crack addict, think of it. Our uterus was injected with hormones for x amount of time daily, suddenly it is taken out of us, sometimes the medication is wearing off inside of us and our body is like, hey, where is my drug, wheres my c rack. So we go thru withdrawal symptoms, look up withdrawal symptoms of drugs like crack, heroine etc.
It is almost the same symptoms we have.
Scary!
Good Luck !
