Re: hcl acid
I only took 1 or 2 pills. After the second day the burning started (intestinal not stomach). Vinegar causes the same thing and also very spicy peppers.
I realized recently that everyone is eating the mucusless diet and the best thing for me is the opposite - the mucus diet. I am doing well with all the mucusy foods like yogurt, milk and anything of that texture. Seems to help my intestines alot and relieve constipation and act as an overall tonic.
Products have not worked for me in the long run. The only thing that has worked to some degree is higher fat diet, going gluten free for a long time (now I eat some with not too many problems), and cleaning up the diet to avoid additives, preservatives, drinking more fluids (not water) and saunas. I Do take some minerals every now and then including iodine, selenium, boron. Magnesium for some reason has never worked out for me even with the high quality ones I recently got.
I used to be positive that I had celiac because of the extreme reactions I would get. It would explain all of the damage to my gut. But recently I do ok with some gluten( better than meat) so maybe it was more of an extreme gluten intolerance, or maybe after avoiding it for 20 some odd years it is actually possible to heal from celiac. The gall bladder problems I have suspected are celiac related too since a lot of celiacs have these types of problems. I really need to figure something out about my gallbladder because it is getting to be intolerable. I don't have traditional gall attacks, just endless stasis that makes me feel like I'm suffocating because my blood/lymph never gets filtered.
I had a band aid solution working for a while while eating more paleo because the liver flushes were more successful. Now it seems they just aren't working well without the stimulation of that sort of diet- though I do eat very high amounts of fat. So in general I feel much calmer and energetic with the carb/fat diet but it looks like my gallbladder is just settling back into to complete stagnancy.
