Bloodhost Eyes

Hi
I've noticed for the last few months that my eyes appear to be bloodshot on a constant basis. The veins are minute, but there are hundreds and thousands of them. They are mostly between the 2 and 4 o'clock positions (when looking at me) on both eyes and again around the 7 and 9 o'clock positions.
Do you have any suggestions of what this may be, and more importantly, is there a way to get rid of this?
