Re: Tinea Versicolor

Small little circles or patches appear on the skin that vary in colour in individuals, depending on their race (for me it is pinkish when it first appears and when it dries the colour of course changes). When its going about in its business, growing and thriving by warmth, humidity, and sweat, it can cause considerable itching. In fact, whenever the body temperature increases to a certain point, the itchiness is unignorable. I don't like medications but I thought, "why not, its only for a week or a month", and it worked to some extent: the itchiness has nearly gone away; but the patches remain in certain areas as dry skin. It's around my neck, my back, chest, abdomens and I'm not sure if it stills exists on my arms (this receded when I took the anti-fungal medication). Its even now on my face which I think I am treating successfully with oil of oregano.

I just thought there is a herb that deals with the systems of elimination through the skin, liver, or what-not, which could directly help clear this condition at least superficially.
