It has also been used as a remedy for cataracts - though it would not be my first choice, at least not as a standalone treatment. - Eye Bright with a few drops of DMSO and oral digestive enzymes would be a much better option, imo,  Note to self: get off yer butt and finish your article on cataract remedies!
