Ringworm, have had for years
Hi, I have had ringworm on the side of my neck and back for years now. It started out as just a couple spots on the side of my neck, then a month later spread to my feet in an athletes foot infection that was unsurpassed by anything i have ever experienced. I couldnt walk for a couple weeks but it finally went away after vinegar soaks, which are really REALLY PAINFUL, and creams. About 5 months later the ringworm hit my forehead, and spread to both of my hands. I couldnt bend my fingers it was so bad. Again, the vinegar and creams worked after a few weeks. Since then, i have the spots on my neck and back that i cant get rid of.
I'm an engineer and am good at analyzing stuff so,here's what i came up with, the athletes foot flare was due to an entrance wound in the skin, i had a little spot on one of my toes where the nail cut into it and this is where it started from, then it spread outward from there.
The forehead , like the hands thing, was again from an entrance wound, i had hit my head and had this little gash, and thats where it all started from.
Now, this(fungal infections) have never been a problem at all for me but, it all started around 2-3 months after i installed a reverse osmosis system in the house. I then removed the reverse osmosis portion of the system, for other reasons, and kept the carbon filters in. When i narrowed it down to this I removed all filters and the infection is slowly going away. My hypothesis is that, because there was black/red stuff growing in the canisters, and the time table of dietary/environmental changes fits, the fungus must have been coming from the water supply. I could never get rid of it because I kept ingesting a fresh supply of fungus each day. And no, it wasnt black carbon residue from the filters. So, when in doubt, check your water, that was the case for me anyway. Oh, and Neem pills seemed to work well too, if i ever remembered to take them.
