Re: Does AF cause structural damage to the adrenals?

According to dr. Lam there is no structural damage to the adrenals in AFS.
But AF can trigger an autoimmune process in your body.
It can be anywhere not necessary the adrenal glands.
Hashimoto's thyroiditis can result from AF when cortisol is low.
Because cortisol suppresses immune system and reduces inflammation when it's depleted the body gets very confused and it's extremely difficult to understand each pathological process by itself or what caused all this hell.
However the way I understand it if the body's immune system starts to attack the adrenals then one should develop the symptoms of Addison disease.
