Since crude Colloidal Silver has been made for years just by putting silver coins in water overnight - can something similar be done by leaving a Krugerrand in a glass of water?

Of course at $1600 plus per oz, this would also make a great sincerity test for one's spouse or significant other. Though I recommend starting with one of those gold coins with chocolate in the middle before moving on to the expensive stuff...
