Re: fighting scabies, pure hell!

Hi just wanted to let you know Sarcoptic Scabiei is from dogs normally referred to as mange scabies and the one you are talking about is Human Scabies. Many people and doctors don't know them well. Human Scabies is usually considered from unclean people but it is usually because when you try to wash them off the reaction of the mites is to go deeper, a protection reaction. The result is extreme itching and burning that the mite conditions the person to stay away from water. The doctors kind of guess at what it could be depending on the amount of rash such as Norwegian Scabies and will misdiagnose shingles. We seem to see the wrong people for information. The people that study bugs are Entomologists and those that study arthropods primarily mites are Acarologists and those that study the micro arthropods/mites that are parasitic are Parasitologist. Problem is if you get Sarcoptic mange from your dog which you can but most people say you can't, the Vet will will say see your doctor who will send you to a dermatologist instead of a parasitologist. Whats with that? Well the Parasitologist is a bug doctor and if you can see a bug doctor why not a vet? They don't work together. These pests have been around for millions of years and haven't changed much. Like Roaches and Sharks they don't need to. There are many things such as Brine Shrimp that the eggs can be dried for years and put them in water they hatch. Mites eggs do the same thing because the mites have a short lifespan of 10 to 14 days female and 3-4 days male. This short life span has had them living since the dinosaurs. The right temp. and humidity and food source and you have one of many types of scabies. Sarcoptic can live on humans with dormant states without the tunnels and none on the hands, just intense itching and clusters or scabs and with a hand magnifier 60x you can see mini spots in the pores that are not visible to the eye, but you will know they are there in 10 days. You will develop a cleaning compulsive disorder of clothing, carpets, furniture, bed linens and washing the dog or cats and their beds etc. When you are being treated the pets must be treated. This may go on for months till all the eggs that have been missed, hatch and are exterminated. This nightmare is up to you, you are at war with the scabei and your friends who dont believe you, the doctor that didn't diagnose you, the vet that didn't find anything on the dog. Even a loved one that feels things crawling on them but doesn't get a bite, is the enemy. Be diligent for now you will understand the real meaning of the 7 year itch. If anyone tells you the information is not true tell them to prove it
