pinnepeds seem to have skin problems and are dying

as i write this there are unusual numbers of sea lion pups washing up ill in southern california with no explanation.

i did a little research and in 2011 Dec. NOAA DE CLAREd an unusual mortality event (UME) in Alaska as record numbers of seals and walruses were washing up with terrible skin lesions, and their noses, orifices were attacked. its been 2 years and scientists have no explanation as far as I could find.

The diseased animals continue to appear.
